Introduction

Kathmandu Institute of Hospitality Management (KIHM) is a vocational training institute which is duly registered with the Government of Nepal  as well as  affiliated to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Our institute has been established by a group of visionary professionals committed to shaping the future of hospitality education.  located in the heart of Kathmandu valley .

KIHM encourages younger generation to opt travel and tourism related vocational training courses and their involvement in tourism arena. We have been successfully conducting “Hospitality Training Programs” since past two decades. At KIHM, we inspire and empower the next generation to pursue careers in the travel and tourism industry by offering industry-relevant vocational training. 

KIHM  is providing training of  the hospitality industry by offering various Vocational degrees and  various training packages as per the national &  international standard. We focus on developing practical, managerial and outstanding communication skills by providing each individual student with the aptitude of a booming career in hospitality industry.

Since past two decades , we have been  offering various short term courses  of Hotel Management like Food Production, F & B Service, Housekeeping, Front Office, Salesmanship

Apart from Hotel management we have been imparting skill training on Secretarial Management, Care givers, domestic helper to those who want to  go foreign shores, especially to Israel, Hong Kong, Canada and the Persian gulf. There is wide range of tie-up with foreign and domestic employment as well as different star hotels in Kathmandu Valley KIHM is involved with different tourism activities and it is an active member of Sustainable Tourism Network Nepal under Nepal Tourism Board.

Our Programs

KIHM offers internationally recognized programs, including:

• Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management (ADHM)- A comprehensive 21-month course that offers advanced training in the hospitality field, accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), UK.
• Diploma in Hospitality Management (DHM)- A 15-month program designed to equip students with essential skills for a successful career in hospitality management, accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), UK.

Both of these courses are globally recognized, ensuring that our graduates are equipped with qualifications that meet international standards.
